Quick Hack for Creating Additional Poses and Products in Midjourney

Updated: Nov 22, 2024

The Fashion Guild®

You’ve spent hours perfecting the look in MidJourney and finally achieved the result you were after. But now, you want to use the same model (character) and experiment with different poses, garments, or both. Here’s a simple guide to help you do just that:

1️⃣ Add Multiple Poses

  • Open your image in the Editor.

  • Drag the frame to reposition your model and leave enough space for two additional poses.

  • Update the prompt to include: “Three identical models wearing exactly the same clothing (provide a clear and detailed description).

  • Once you’ve generated the three poses you like, create individual images by returning to the Editor, erasing two of the figures, and rewriting your prompt for each image.

2️⃣ Change the Clothing

  • Open the Editor and erase the areas of the image that require a wardrobe change.

  • Rewrite your prompt, ensuring you include the commands: --cref (+ image reference) and --cw 0. These commands instruct MidJourney to keep the core elements consistent while allowing clothing changes.

✨ Result? You’ll have consistent model characters with varied poses and outfits, perfect for fashion mood boards and initial design concepts.
